Product Details

Trifluridine Eye Drops are antiviral eye drops used to treat herpes simplex virus (types 1 and 2) infections of the eye. They work by stopping the virus from copying its DNA, which helps control the infection and allows the eye to heal faster. These drops are especially useful for treating HSV keratitis, a serious eye infection that can lead to vision loss if not managed properly.
They are often used on their own or along with oral antiviral medication in more severe cases.

Indications

Herpes-related eye infections (keratoconjunctivitis)
Recurrent HSV eye infections
As an add-on treatment with oral antivirals in severe cases

Dosage

Instill 1 drop into the affected eye every 2 hours while awake (up to 9 drops/day)
Reduce how often you use it as the eye gets better
Use for up to 21 days or as advised by your doctor
