Product Details

Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution is a topical antibiotic eye drop used in the treatment of external ocular infections caused by bacteria. As an antibiotic, Tobramycin functions by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively stopping bacterial growth and helping in the resolution of the infection. It is widely prescribed for conditions such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and other bacterial inflammations of the eye.

Indications

Treatment of bacterial infections of the external eye, including conjunctivitis and blepharitis
Offers protection against a broad range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
Ideal for mild to severe ocular bacterial infections

Dosage

For mild to moderate infections: Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours
For severe infections: Instill 2 drops every hour, or as directed by a physician
