Product Details

Terbutaline Injection is used primarily as a bronchodilator to treat and prevent bronchospasm in patients with reversible obstructive airway disease. It may also be used off-label as a tocolytic to delay premature labor. Administered parenterally, it provides fast and effective relief during acute episodes of bronchospasm when inhalers or tablets are not feasible.

Indications

Management and relief of acute bronchospasm in asthma and COPD
Treatment of severe asthma exacerbations requiring parenteral therapy
Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm
Off-label use in the management of preterm labor (tocolysis) under specialist supervision
Emergency treatment of severe respiratory distress due to airway constriction
