Streptomycin Injection is an aminoglycoside antibiotic primarily used in the treatment of tuberculosis (TB), particularly in combination with other anti-TB drugs. This helps make the treatment more effective and prevents drug resistance. Streptomycin is also used to treat other serious bacterial infections, including those caused by both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
