Product Details

This broad-spectrum antibacterial and anti-inflammatory combination is formulated for the treatment of ocular and otic bacterial infections with concurrent inflammation. Polymyxin B Sulphate disrupts the cell membrane of gram-negative bacteria, while Chloramphenicol inhibits protein synthesis in a wide range of pathogens. Dexamethasone, a potent corticosteroid, controls the inflammatory response, reducing swelling, redness, and discomfort, which enhances recovery. This formulation is widely used post-operatively, after injuries, or in severe infections requiring both antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapy.

Indications

Bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, and post-surgical ocular infections
Otitis externa and other bacterial ear infections with inflammatory symptoms
Mixed bacterial infections of the eye or ear requiring combined antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory treatment
Post-operative prophylaxis to prevent infection and inflammation
Management of traumatic ocular or otic injuries at risk of bacterial contamination

Dosage

Adults & Children: Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye or ear every 4–6 hours, or as directed by a healthcare professional. In severe cases, the dose may be increased initially.
