Levetiracetam Injection is an antiepileptic drug used in the management of various types of seizures, including partial-onset seizures, myoclonic seizures, and generalized tonic-clonic seizures. It is indicated for use in patients with epilepsy and is especially useful when oral administration is not feasible. Levetiracetam works by stabilizing neuronal activity and preventing abnormal brain signals that lead to seizures.

Indications

Adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures in adults and children
Myoclonic seizures associated with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy
Primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures
Status epilepticus (off-label use under clinical supervision)
Suitable for perioperative seizure management when oral route is not available

Dosage
