Product Details

Acetic Acid Ear Drops 2.0% w/v is a topical otic solution designed for the management and prevention of mild to moderate external ear infections. Its primary mechanism involves lowering the pH of the ear canal, to inhibit growth of bacteria and fungi. This product is commonly recommended for swimmer’s ear, mild fungal otitis externa, and as a prophylactic in individuals susceptible to frequent water exposure.

Indications

Otitis Externa: Treatment of inflammation of the outer ear canal due to bacterial or fungal causes
Fungal Infections: Management of superficial fungal infections in the ear
Preventive Use: In individuals with frequent water exposure or history of recurring ear infections

Dosage

Instill 3–5 drops into the affected ear 3–4 times daily or as directed by a healthcare provider
Do not use for more than 7–10 days unless advised by a physician
