Product Details

Levosulpiride Injection is a prescription medication used primarily for treating gastrointestinal motility disorders and certain psychiatric conditions. It works by enhancing gastric emptying and improving mood and behavior in psychiatric illnesses. It is commonly used in the treatment of functional dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and also in some mood disorders including depression and schizophrenia.

Indications

Functional dyspepsia and delayed gastric emptying
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Chronic nausea and vomiting
Adjunct treatment in schizophrenia with predominant negative symptoms
Treatment of mild to moderate depression, especially with somatic symptoms

Dosage

Adults: Administer 50 mg (2 ml) via intramuscular or intravenous injection once or twice daily, as prescribed by a healthcare provider
Children: Not recommended unless prescribed by a pediatric specialist. Dosage must be carefully adjusted
