Product Details

Brinzolamide and Brinzolamide Tartrate Ophthalmic Suspension is a fixed-dose combination ophthalmic preparation indicated for the treatment of patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who require multiple medications to achieve target IOP. Brinzolamide lowers intraocular pressure, thereby reducing aqueous humor secretion. Brimonidine Tartrate works by both reducing aqueous humor production and increasing uveoscleral outflow. Together, they provide a complementary and additive effect, ensuring sustained IOP reduction, reducing the risk of optic nerve damage and vision deterioration.

Indications

Primary open-angle glaucoma
Ocular hypertension
Patients requiring combination therapy for IOP control
Situations where monotherapy is insufficient

Dosage

Adults: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, or as prescribed by the ophthalmologist.
Children: Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients are not well established. Use only under medical supervision.
